LingoSprout1. Agreement and eligibility
By downloading or using LingoSprout, the adult responsible for the device agrees to these Terms. The app is designed for children ages 2 and up, but downloads, settings, purchases, and legal decisions must be handled by a parent or legal guardian.
2. License to use LingoSprout
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for private, non-commercial family use in accordance with these Terms and the rules of the app store where you obtained it. You do not acquire ownership of the app or its content.
3. Parent and caregiver responsibility
Parents and caregivers are responsible for choosing suitable screen time, supervising device use, maintaining Parent Area access, and deciding whether the app fits a child’s needs. LingoSprout is an educational aid, not a replacement for caregiver interaction, professional advice, or formal instruction.
4. Free access and Premium Lifetime
The free app includes Animals, Food, Colors, Numbers, and Body in all supported languages, plus the Learn, Play, Practice, and Rewards features. Premium Lifetime is a one-time in-app purchase that unlocks the premium categories and avatars available for version 1, along with future V1 categories and languages described in the app.
“Lifetime” means access for the supported lifetime of the LingoSprout product under the purchasing app-store account; it does not promise that every future product, major edition, device, or operating system will be supported forever. Premium is not a subscription.
5. Billing, restores, and refunds
Apple or Google processes payment in local currency and controls taxes, family sharing eligibility, refunds, and other billing rules. Prices may vary by store and region. Restore purchases using the same app-store account that completed the purchase. If a restore fails, contact us and the relevant store.
6. Acceptable use
You may not:
- Copy, resell, rent, sublicense, or commercially exploit the app
- Reverse engineer or bypass security and purchase controls, except where law expressly permits
- Use the app or website to harm others or violate applicable law
- Interfere with the app, purchase service, website, or supporting systems
- Misrepresent an affiliation with LingoSprout
7. Intellectual property
LingoSprout, its wordmark, app design, illustrations, characters, animations, audio, written content, and software are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. App-store marks and third-party names belong to their respective owners.
8. Availability and changes
We may improve, correct, add, or remove features to keep the app safe, useful, and compatible. Stories and songs discussed as future ideas are not currently shipped features. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability on every device or operating-system version.
9. Disclaimer
To the extent permitted by law, LingoSprout is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. We do not guarantee a particular vocabulary, educational, or developmental outcome. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from use of the app. Our total liability for a claim will not exceed the amount you paid for LingoSprout in the twelve months before the claim. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law or to liability that cannot legally be limited.
11. Ending use
You may stop using and uninstall the app at any time. We may suspend access where reasonably necessary to address unlawful use, fraud, security, or material breach of these Terms.
12. Changes and contact
